Jovan Ducret was born on September 29th in Duisburg, Germany.
Aged 2 he took his first music lessons, playing the piano by age 4, the trumpet by age 8 and the drums by age 10, where he was taught some basics and then continued as a self-taught until age 14, when he auditioned for the pre-studies program at NMKS in Duisburg – becoming the youngest person to ever get accepted for studies on the guitar, drums, piano, classical & jazz music theory, hearing education and more. A year prior he had been teaching himself the guitar. In 2013 he became accepted for a Bachelor of Arts on Music at the Hochschule für Musik und Tanz Köln (Music & Dance Arts University of Cologne), which Jovan left after a semester to accomplish his degree as a Live- and Studio Musician.
Jovan went on to tour and release works as a drummer with several bands & projects all across Europe.
In 2018, Jovan built his very own music production studio in Gelsenkirchen-Erle, Germany, where he produces, records and releases music from – for his own projects, other artists and even sound-designing for advertisement campaigns for companies such as CineStar and others. His music coaching academy runs in the studio, too, with workshops, group and 1-1 intensives available to the public. As a workshop facilitator, Jovan has coached hundreds of people at his clinics in various schools, music academies, his own studio and in cooperation with the german State. His passion for studio work and music production has put several of his works as producer, mixing and mastering engineer on global music charts from Europe to the Emirates.
